Passos Collection was born in the heart of Porto, in a historic building shaped by the character and heritage of the city.
Our name is inspired by Manuel da Silva Passos (1801–1862), known as Passos Manuel, one of the leading figures of Portuguese liberalism in the 19th century, whose legacy remains closely connected to Porto and to the street that bears his name.
A strong advocate of education, culture and progress, his vision is often captured in a simple idea:
“Educate the people, and they will know how to be free.”
That connection between history and the present is also at the heart of Passos Collection. Behind the traditional façade, we have preserved the soul of the building while creating bright, contemporary apartments defined by simple lines, minimalist design and genuine comfort.
